Tamarack Homes has been developing Ottawa neighbourhoods for over 70 years. In that time, they’ve steadily grown into one of the busiest and most trusted developers in the region. In each new neighbourhood they build, they set up model homes as sales centres for potential buyers to explore. While this strategy helps customers visualize what their new home could look like, it doesn’t provide a full picture of the various floor plans and finishes available. Homebuyers are also naturally skeptical. Whether they’re buying their first home or their fifth, it’s always a major buying decision, creating long sales cycles.
Tamarack realized they could quickly enhance a buyer’s view of a home by putting it in context of the surrounding area. But without the right tools, it would take too much effort for the sales team to help every customer imagine what their life could be like in the neighbourhood. The Tamarack team decided to work with Iversoft to create a digital solution that could improve the customer experience while streamlining the buying process.
To help customers explore Tamarack developments and neighbourhoods more easily, we designed and built custom software and touchscreen panels. Our touchscreens offer a fully interactive experience, enabling customers to browse model homes, select and compare floor plans, and pick the finishes that suit their taste. Customers can also explore everything the neighbourhood has to offer, including nearby restaurants, stores, hospitals, schools, and more. After installation, we continued to support Tamarack with ongoing software updates, hardware upgrades, and support as their needs evolved.
Tamarack introduced our interactive touchscreen applications in seven of their sales centres across Ottawa and Kingston. As a result, their customers are more engaged in the sales process. Tamarack has also confirmed a significant increase in their ability to capture accurate information in the early stages of the sales cycle, reducing the length of their sales process.
