The Challenge

Ashcroft Homes takes pride in building more than houses and condos — they build communities. Known for quality and innovation, the Ashcroft team wanted to create an elevated sales experience to reflect their reputation and give customers a better feel for what to expect from their developments. Early on, it was clear that to achieve this goal, they needed to modernize their sales centres. They started by investing in touchscreen kiosks, which had the potential to engage customers with their work in a whole new way. While they had the right hardware, they needed help developing custom software to bring their vision to life. Ashcroft decided to turn to a company that cares as much about quality as they do: Iversoft.

The Solution

The Solution

We kicked off the project by learning about Ashcroft’s goals and the abilities and limitations of the kiosks they had already invested in. Once we fully understood their needs and clearly defined the project objectives, we got to work. During the initial design phase, we collaborated closely with Ashcroft’s marketing team to ensure the look and feel of the finished product matched the rest of their marketing collateral.


Overall, while we focused on creating an incredible customer experience, we knew it was just as important to build a solution that sales centre employees could easily manage through a user-friendly content management system (CMS). The result is a seamless program that enables curious customers to explore, compare, and customize floor plans in rich detail. They can also view floor plans side by side or play with different layout options within a floor plan where available. When a customer finds a configuration they like, they simply email it to themselves for easy reference. Customers can also use the kiosks to learn more about the surrounding community and on-site amenities.

Because some international customers can’t visit the sales centres in person, we created a downloadable tablet version of the software so Ashcroft employees can remotely demonstrate the quality options available in their homes.


The Results

We built custom touch screen solutions for two of Ashcroft’s luxury sales centres — the south-end Ottawa community, CitiPlace, and the high-end condominium complex overlooking Parliament, reResidences. Since introducing them, they’ve seen improved customer engagement and satisfaction. In addition, they are now able to capture valuable, real-time information about their customers’ needs and desires, improving the buying process and shortening the sales cycle.
